Sara and Tom first met each other in June 2001 on a collaborative creative writing forum. What started out as an anonymous friendship blossomed over the next few years into one of the closest forms of companionship either would ever experience.
Being able to connect with one another while remaining behind the anonymity of the internet launched them into a connection that would have otherwise taken several years longer had it been in person. They shared secrets, faults, fears, hopes and dreams without fear of being judged. They talked before and after school, on weekends and holidays, and remained best friends through middle school, high school, and well after graduating.
Then one rainy day in April, a month before Tom was leaving to Ireland with the promise of no internet, the two finally confessed their feelings for each other. But it wasn’t until August of that year that Sara and Tom finally met in person for the very first time. Tom flew to Sara on his way home from Ireland, and the two have quite literally been inseparable ever since. The couple now resides happily in Ontario, Canada with their two three cats.

Other than Mr & Mrs, Tom and Sara pay tribute to their roots by jointly maintaining a private writing forum and a blog dedicated to their ongoing study of the Japanese language and culture titled Kanji & Tea. Independently Tom writes articles for his self exploration blog Implicate Evolution, and Sara continues taking photographs of everyday life for her photoblog Simply Stardust, as well as professional material for her photography portfolio.
